LACTATION COUNSELING

 

Compassion, flexibility, and encouragement are critical when it comes to successful breastfeeding outcomes. Natasha will help

you set and reach your personal breastfeeding goal, whatever that may be, while being mindful that every family is different, life is unpredictable, plans can change, and there's more than one way

to do it. Support includes:

 

• Comprehensive breastfeeding assessment

• Breastfeeding counseling & support

• Developing an evidence-based care plan

• Management of care and follow up

• Guidance on hand expression, pumping, bottle feeding

• Preparing to return to work

• Weaning

So, what exactly happens after birth?! This private, 3-hour in-home or virtual postpartum crash course with Natasha will help ready you for your baby(ies)'s arrival. Topics covered:

• Newborn characteristics and care

• Human milk vs. formula

• Breast/chest feeding basics

• Building an abundant milk supply

• Paced bottle feeding 

• Sleep

• Swaddling and diapers

• Soothing tips and tricks 

• Home/nursery essentials

POSTPARTUM COOKING

 

There are three simple traditional postpartum practices or "women's pearls of wisdom" for healing after birth which are now backed by research: Rest, hydrate, and eat well. Let Natasha nourish you with warming, easy-to-digest, protein-rich foods that are the gold standard for postpartum recovery, boosting milk supply (if breastfeeding), and warding off PPDs. How it works:

• Choose 2 recipes from Natasha's menu (list provided upon request)

• Adjustments can be made based on restrictions or preferences

• Natasha will pick up ingredients and bring to your home to cook

• While the pot is simmering, ask all your burning questions about postpartum recovery, newborn care, and parenting.

• Pro Tip: Have Natasha stock your freezer before baby arrives! 

• Fee: Hourly postpartum rate + cost of ingredients
